Everything below is what the role actually is. Read it before you apply. It will save us both a fortnight.

01What you would be selling

I am Pranav Sethi. I run Agency God, registered as InsaneX.

We sell a high ticket coaching programme to Indian agency owners. People who run a social media marketing agency and want more clients.

We have run Meta ads every day for 13+ months. People watch our video at smmaonsteroids.com, fill a qualification form and pick a slot on the calendar.

Then a setter confirms it. Only after that does the call reach you.

These buyers are not easy. They run agencies and they push back. Winning that conversation is the job.

02The money

Base: Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 a month. Plus 10 percent of every deal you close.

The base is your salary. The 10 percent sits on top of it, at the same rate from your first deal, with no ceiling.

Where you land in the band is decided at offer stage. It depends on what you have closed and can show proof of.

I am not printing a monthly earnings figure. Ask a closer who already does this job. Before you sign, you get a call with one of our two closers, without me on the line.

03What you do, and what you never do

You take calls that our setters have already booked and confirmed. You find out what is stuck in the buyer's agency, make the offer, and ask for a decision on that call.

What you never do: prospect, build lists, cold call or send DMs. Booking the calls is the setters' job, not yours.

You sell one programme to one kind of buyer: agency owners. If you like getting better at the same call every week, you will like this. If you need variety, you will not.

Step 4. A role play. You close me, and I push back like a real buyer.

Why a voice note and not a written form?

This job is talking, so the application is talking too. A minute of you talking tells me more than two pages of CV. No script, no editing. Talk like you would on a call.

What if the recorder does not work on my phone?

Some in-app browsers block the microphone. Open the page in Chrome or Safari and try again. Or record a voice note on your phone and upload it with the upload option on the form. Keep it under 3 minutes. Both count the same.

Do I need a CV?

No. The CV is optional. If you have one handy, attach it. If not, skip it. The voice note matters more.
